Darryn Peterson is the top-ranked basketball prospect in the class of 2025, known for his elite scoring, defensive versatility and advanced feel for the game. A 6’5” combo guard from Canton, Ohio, he starred at Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, Huntington Prep and Prolific Prep, where he averaged 23.1 points, 9.1 rebounds, and nearly 3 steals per game as a senior.  Darryn earned McDonald’s All-American honors and was named the game’s MVP and was named Naismith Player of the Year.

Off the court, Peterson became the first high school athlete to sign a NIL deal with Adidas, cementing his status as a rising star. Now committed to the University of Kansas, he is poised to bring his pro-ready game to one of college basketball’s most iconic programs.
